The operation is protected by international cover: P&I (Protection & Indemnity) insurance with West, a leading European insurer in the maritime sector, and hull and machinery insurance with Fairfax.

The West P&I Club is a member of the International Group of P&I Clubs, which brings together 13 mutual clubs and covers more than 90% of the world's ocean-going tonnage against third-party liabilities. Fairfax Brasil Seguros Corporativos, controlled by Canada's Fairfax Financial Holdings and in Brazil since 2010, provides hull, machinery and equipment cover for the vessels in operation.
