Equipment

The operation runs on its own fleet: IS Barbosa branded tank trucks for road transport, barges for vessel bunkering on Amazon rivers and fueling units for into-plane service at airport bases, with equipment sized and maintained to operate safely in Amazon conditions.

Each type of equipment has its own oversight: truck tanks undergo periodic inspection certified by a body accredited by Inmetro (Brazil's metrology institute), barges follow the Maritime Authority rules for inland navigation, and aircraft fueling follows the ANP (Brazil's petroleum agency) specification and the ABNT NBR 15216 standard for aviation fuel quality control.
